At Vision Health Support Services, we provide Early Childhood Intervention using the – Key Worker Model. A key worker is an early childhood specialist who acts as the key point of contact for children and young people with developmental delay, disability, autism and their families, and provide comfort to families and ensures a consistent approach is being taken to reduce confusion.

Our social workers are trained in trauma informed practice, protective behaviours, child protections issues, mental health and disability as well as understand system barriers and practices that can prevent people from reaching their full potential. Our approach to challenge barriers is through solution focused, strength based and person-centered approach, and work collaboratively with the clients and their families who understands their circumstances the best in order to arrive at a solution that is pragmatic to meet their needs.
